The Comet #37 is an all-star anthology featuring several stories: "Jungle Lord" follows Dick as he pursues a ghostly figure who has abducted a woman named Bibi; after a fierce struggle with the villain Snape in the jungle, Dick rescues Bibi and discovers that Snape has been defeated. "Round the World in the Flying Fish" depicts Jack and Jill's experimental trip with Uncle Bob in an aircraft capable of traveling underwater and overland, during which they encounter a mysterious flying fish and a giant snake in a desolate region. "The Swordsman" is a historical drama set in Scotland involving two feuding clans, the MacArdens and Glowans, centered on Alexander MacArden's romance with Barbara Glowan and a series of battles and betrayals that ultimately result in the two clans uniting through their marriage.
