Featuring tales of doomed lovers, ghostly encounters, and supernatural twists, the stories are presented in the classic style of the era with artwork by industry veterans. As part of the Chilling Archives of Horror Comics series, this edition preserves the original comic covers and ads, offering a nostalgic look at a unique genre blend.
"Crawling Evil" delivers a deliciously twisted tale from Moe Marcus, whose bold artwork brings to life a seaside mansion haunted by ancient secrets and a bride who’s more monster than human. When gold-digging Mona abandons her injured fiancé Donald, he’s rescued by a hidden lineage of crab-like beings—descendants who’ve traded their humanity for survival beneath the waves. Cover by Bernard Baily, this 2017 IDW/Yoe Books standout blends gothic dread with body horror in a story where love turns to vengeance, and the sea holds more than just treasure.
