Darick Robertson's cover for this penultimate issue says everything about Garth Ennis and Robertson's long-running satire without a single word: dozens of costumed superheroes — capes, claws, energy blasts and all — explode upward out of a toilet in a chaotic, irreverent swarm. It's a fittingly absurdist image for a series that has never once taken superhero culture at face value, and as The Boys barrels toward its 2012 conclusion with "You Found Me," the stakes feel every bit as outsized as that porcelain geyser suggests.
