Garth Ennis and John McCrea's mature-readers series reaches issue #55, and Darick Robertson's cover sets a quietly unsettling tone: an elderly scientist in a white lab coat and bow tie hunches over laboratory glassware — a bubbling flask, beakers, scattered equations — lost in weary contemplation. What he doesn't see is the menacing figure looming in the doorway behind him, wrench raised with unmistakable intent.
