Part two of "Believe" arrives with one of the more unexpectedly serene images in Garth Ennis's sharp-edged series: a dark-haired figure in a black coat grips a massive, colorful cluster of balloons and drifts high above the clouds, seagulls wheeling past on all sides. Darick Robertson's cover work gives the scene a quietly surreal quality — festive reds, greens, blues, and golds overhead, and a vast open sky that feels both freeing and precarious. With Russ Braun handling interior art and Ennis at the helm, this 2010 Dynamite issue promises the same mix of wit and unease that keeps The Boys consistently compelling.
