A striking dark-haired woman in a crimson top dominates the left side of this fourth issue's cover, her cool, guarded expression set against a swirling wash of psychedelic color — yellows, greens, and soft pinks that radiate outward like an altered state made visible. Splashes of hot pink punctuate the background, giving the whole image a sense of underlying tension beneath its dreamy surface. Joe Casey and David Messina's 2013 Image series continues to blend street-level attitude with something far stranger, and this cover makes a quiet, confident case for both.
