From the pages of DC's 2007 run comes Blue Beetle #11, "The Guns of Forever" — and Andy Kuhn's cover delivers a vivid, energetic snapshot of Jaime Reyes in full scarab armor, glowing eyes blazing as he surges forward in dynamic motion. Below him, a figure in a dark blue costume braces atop a hulking piece of green machinery, the tagline "With Gods on His Side!" hinting at the high-stakes company Jaime may be keeping. With John Rogers writing and Rafael Albuquerque on interior art, this series continued to prove that the young Blue Beetle had plenty of firepower — and perhaps divine backup — to spare.
