The final chapter of DC's Helix miniseries arrives with a cover by Timothy Truman that pulls no punches — a cloaked, armored warrior strides forward beneath a blood-red sky, sword in one hand and spear in the other, while a looming horned beast and a press of grotesque creatures close in from all sides. The tension radiating from that lone figure surrounded by monstrous adversaries makes a fitting cap to a six-issue run that has clearly embraced dark, gritty fantasy with real conviction.
