The Black Lamb #3

The third chapter of Timothy Truman's six-part Helix series finds its masked, green-clad hero plunging headlong into a writhing mass of enormous serpentine creatures, daggers drawn and clearly outnumbered — Truman's cover art crackles with kinetic danger against that smoldering red sky. Sam Parsons' coloring gives the whole scene a fevered, otherworldly heat that pulls you right into the chaos. If "Steel Maiden" promises anything, it's that this mid-series installment isn't pausing for breath.
