The Bionic Woman #2

Charlton's The Bionic Woman #2 (1978) plunges Jaime Sommers straight into deep-water danger, with Jack Sparling's cover depicting her in a purple wetsuit, fending off a massive great white shark while a second diver looms in the churning waves behind her. It's a tense, kinetic image that makes full use of the ocean setting, and the promise of "All New" material inside — including the story "The Freedom Way" — gives this issue plenty of momentum. A fine early chapter in Charlton's run with one of television's most beloved heroes.
