This twenty-fifth issue of Image's body-horror series The Beauty arrives with a cover by Jeremy Haun that is equal parts gorgeous and deeply unsettling — a woman's face, cracked like porcelain and mouth agape, set against warm retro-striped bands of green, amber, and red. The tension between conventional beauty and visible fracture is exactly the series' signature unease, rendered here with striking restraint.
