The Batman Strikes #28
Gotham's rooftops turn into a very strange stage in this 2007 issue of The Batman Strikes!, as the Joker — wild-eyed and gleefully menacing — teams up with the gun-toting ventriloquist dummy Scarface to face down a very alert Batman. The cover by Christopher Jones and Terry Beatty captures the odd-couple energy of the pairing perfectly, with the tagline "Joker's Got a New Toy… And It's Scarface!" setting up a collision of two of Gotham's most unpredictable personalities against the Dark Knight. Writer Jai Nitz's story, "The Comic and the Straight Man," promises that this unlikely alliance is every bit as chaotic as it looks.
