Jenkins, Daphne's family butler, pays a visit to Wayne Manor and his "old chum from butler school", Alfred. The two gentlemen's gentlemen reminisce along with Daphne. Meanwhile, Scooby-Doo and Ace the Bat-Hound (in his civilian identity as just "Ace") are sleeping-gassed and taken from the Manor by dognappers looking for rich ransoms. With Batman, Robin, Velma, Fred, and Shaggy on a case, Alfred, Daphne, and Jenkins search sleuth-style for the kidnapped canines - and stumble onto a large-scale dog-ransoming ring.
