About this Collection

This collection brings together two of Steve Ditko's later philosophical action series, The Avenging Mind and The Scales of Justice, originally published in the late 2000s by Robin Snyder and Ditko himself. The Avenging Mind follows a hero who uses pure intellect and moral certainty to combat corruption, while The Scales of Justice presents a more abstract, allegorical take on crime and punishment through a masked avenger. Both stories showcase Ditko's signature Objectivist-influenced themes and stark, expressive artwork from his later period.
