Stéphane Levallois's The Ark arrives from Humanoids in 2016 as a striking graphic novel, and its cover immediately signals something hauntingly original — a bulky, armored figure in a heavy suit dangles from cables against a stark, two-toned background, small debris or creatures trailing beneath them into an uncertain void.
