In this 1978 installment of The Adventures of Tintin, the young reporter and his dog Snowy travel to the fictional South American nation of San Theodoros, where they become entangled in a revolutionary plot involving their old friend General Alcazar. The story, originally serialized in 1975–1976, marks the final completed adventure by Hergé and features the return of several familiar characters, including the bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson and the villainous Rastapopoulos.
