In this 1951 classic, Peter Wheat and his loyal companion Beetle face their strangest foe yet: the Dragonfly King, who’s captured the frog and imprisoned it in a shimmering web. With the duo now trapped themselves, Peter must outwit the insect monarch in a showdown of wits and magic—using the coming solar eclipse as his secret weapon. Written by Del Connell and brought to life with vivid art by Al Hubbard, this free issue from Peter Wheat Bread and Bakers Associates is a whimsical, clever adventure with a touch of the fantastical.
