The Adventures of Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis #16
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1954 DC gem captures the duo's signature slapstick perfectly — Jerry finds himself sprawled inside the wide-open jaws of a very confused alligator, while Dean and two startled young women look on from atop the beast. Owen Fitzgerald's cover art sells the punchline beautifully, with Jerry's manic grin suggesting he's either oblivious to the danger or completely unbothered by it. A tropical setting, a reptile with a question mark floating above its head, and that wonderfully absurd speech bubble make this one of the most charming covers in the series.
