The Adventure Album #1

An anthology of action and adventure stories featuring multiple tales. One story follows Ham and Patty, whose boat is riddled with holes and sinking; after swimming to shore and spotting a house, they must evade a silent figure watching their movements and encounter a great black fin in the water, which Ham bravely fights off with a knife. Another story involves Master Yarko and his men in snow-covered mountains investigating reports of wolves and vampires, discovering evidence of the supernatural near the "Hoshai Flower of Human Blood." A third narrative depicts sailors using a polished tin pan to reflect sunlight and send morse code signals (S.O.S.) to alert a ship called the Dragon to an encamped rebel position, leading to a bombardment by the ship's guns.
