Pip the Troll abducts the Hulk on behalf of Blastaar, who wants to deliver him to Annihilus so he can regain his full power. Using a cerebral disruptor, Blastaar is able to keep the Hulk unconscious for transport. However, Pip has some regrets and lets Thanos know about the Hulk's plight, realizing Thanos will wish to investigate. Sure enough, Thanos telepathically enters the Hulk's mind and confronts the psyches of both Hulk and Banner.
