“Zero Sanctuary Part 4 of 6”

Tini Howard and Ariel Olivetti's "Zero Sanctuary" arc reaches its fourth chapter with a cover by Jeff Dekal that says plenty without a single word: a younger, armor-clad Thanos screams in defiance, fists clenched, while a colossal silhouetted figure looms behind him, its face haloed in blinding light and crackling lightning against a hellish red sky. The contrast in scale is striking — the Mad Titan, usually the most imposing presence in any room, rendered almost small against whatever force bears down on him. If this 2019 series has been building toward a reckoning, issue four looks like the moment it arrives.
