This is the first volume of Osamu Tezuka's classic samurai-horror manga Dororo, presented as part of Kodansha's Tezuka Osamu Bunko Complete Works series (BT 17). The story follows the young swordsman Hyakkimaru, who was born without 48 body parts due to a pact his father made with demons, and his quest to reclaim them by slaying those demons, aided by the young thief Dororo.
