# Texas Rangers in Action #45 This issue is an anthology containing two stories. "The Warrior" features Texas Ranger Tom Blake selected to guide Army Colonel Carvel to meet Chief Iron Shirt, a mission that becomes one of the most dangerous assignments of Blake's career; the story culminates with Tom saving the Colonel's life and the two old warriors finding peace together. The second story follows a young man named Tex who joins the Texas Rangers and is assigned to track down a band of renegade injuns, successfully locating their hideout and earning praise from his commanding officer for staying on their trail.
