Texas Rangers in Action #14

Texas Rangers patrol a camp and discover two desperados hidden by the riverbank, leading to a shootout. After wounding one of the outlaws, the Rangers pursue them to a town where they learn that a criminal named Riffe Neiman has orchestrated the ambush; the Rangers set a trap on the roof of the Crystal Saloon to catch Neiman unaware. The tall, quiet Texan is shot during the confrontation but manages to wound and overcome the criminals before succumbing to his injuries.
