The fourth and final chapter of Enki Bilal's "Monster Tetralogy" arrives in this 2008 Polish edition from Egmont Polska, subtitled "Akt Ostatni" — the last act. Bilal's cover, rendered entirely in his own pencils and inks, sets a brooding, dreamlike tone: three figures in dark suits gather around a white table marked with the year 2027, while abstract red shapes slash across the composition and ghostly imagery drifts through a hazy blue atmosphere. It's a fittingly enigmatic close to a series that has long showcased Bilal's singular ability to blur the boundary between political unease and surreal vision.
