# Terrific Comics #2 (March 1946) This anthology issue features two main stories. "Boomerang" follows a hero who battles enemy agents and a mysterious villain claiming superhuman strength derived from "the strength of mad bulls" and "the brains of as many" minds; after a confrontation at sea involving Nazi forces, the hero helps someone escape and prepares for future adventures. "Mousey" depicts a small-time criminal named Mousie Mooligan who, after a gunfight with Dominic's mob nearly kills him, is picked up by two cops and taken to a hospital where he signs a document providing evidence against the crime ring. The issue also includes a naval/submarine story in which a ship's crew struggles with dwindling food supplies and water while trapped below the surface, with one sailor proposing they reach land by following a mountain based on an old saying.
