The second chapter of this four-part Dark Horse series delivers a genuinely tense cover by Robert Sammelin — a uniformed police officer moves cautiously through a graffiti-tagged alley, gun drawn, while the battle-scarred face of a Terminator looms large overhead, one red eye glowing with cold menace. The composition does a fine job of conveying the impossible odds facing a lone human officer against a relentless machine threat. Brian Wood and Jeff Stokely bring this gritty urban sci-fi story deeper into its run with this 2018 installment.
