Telos #3
This February 2016 issue of DC's Telos series delivers a genuinely unsettling cover by Stephen Segovia: a massive, pale figure dominates the frame, its gaping jaws stretched wide while a red-costumed, snarling figure crackles with crimson energy inside a transparent chamber embedded in its skull. The visual tension between captor and captive is hard to shake, and "Hiraeth" — a Welsh word for a deep, longing homesickness — adds an unexpectedly poignant layer to the cosmic menace on display. With a creative team that includes writer Jeff King alongside artists Igor Vitorino, colorists Hi-Fi and Peter Steigerwald, this is a striking chapter in Telos's solo saga.
