This issue contains two stories. In "Robespierre," the Alley Scavengers hold an election for a new president, and the character Jughaid demands a secret ballot and majority rule, leading to comic chaos as the animals dispute the voting process and election results. In the second story, two young characters discuss perspective and scale, comparing themselves to mountains, birds, and butterflies, ultimately concluding that to a microbe, they must appear as large as mountains are to them.
