The penultimate chapter of IDW's The Armageddon Game arrives with a cover that commands attention — a massive, red-eyed demon lord looms over the composition, its fanged maw wide open, while two cloaked figures flank a serene woman at the center, surrounded by grasping skeletal hands, and a sword-bearing warrior stands ready at the edge. Vincenzo Federici's artwork layers threat and mystery beautifully, with Heather Breckel's cool nocturnal palette giving the whole scene an eerie, high-stakes atmosphere. Tom Waltz's sprawling TMNT saga is clearly pushing toward something big in this 2023 issue.
