Titled "Chapter Eight: Infested," this 2026 installment of IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder promises something genuinely unsettling — and Mateus Santolouco's cover delivers on that promise immediately. From a low, ground-level angle we look up at a cloaked, spike-shouldered figure (the Shredder himself, back turned) facing down a towering, grotesque mass of mechanical and organic horror — a massive creature bristling with tentacles, claws, and corrupted machinery, rendered in a striking deep-red palette with ember-like sparks scattered throughout. With Dan Watters writing and Sid Kotian on art with colors by Marco Lesko, this series continues to push the Shredder into genuinely threatening, darkly imaginative territory.
