All four Turtles — Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello, weapons drawn and ready — stand their ground against a towering, armored Rocksteady bearing down from above, while a trio of grotesque, spider-legged creatures snarl from below, making for one intensely layered cover by Dave Wachter with colors by Ronda Pattison. "Battle Lines, Part 1" promises a story that lives up to its title, with the Turtles caught between threats from every direction. IDW's 2018 run continues to deliver the kind of sprawling, visually rich confrontations that make this series such a satisfying read.
