The fragmented panel layout crackles with the feeling of multiple confrontations converging at once across New York's rooftops and alleyways. IDW's TMNT series continues to push its storytelling into gritty, human-scale territory with this 2015 issue, and the cover alone makes a strong case for what's at stake.
