The collection also includes the team's first encounter with Speedy and the introduction of the villainous Mad Mod, capturing the youthful energy and charm of DC's 1960s teen heroes.
In "The Thousand-and-One Dooms of Mr. Twister," the Teen Titans answer a desperate plea from a teen, diving into a bizarre heist orchestrated by the Flips—a rock 'n roll band turned rogue. Armed with a surfboard, a cheerleader’s baton, and a trick motorcycle, the Flips throw the Titans off their game with a performance as chaotic as it is criminal. Written by Bob Haney and illustrated by Nick Cardy, with a dynamic cover by Michael Cho, this 2018 tale blends music, mischief, and mystery in a way only the Silver Age could deliver.
