Teen Titans #2
The second chapter of "Titans Children" arrives in November 1996 with a cover by Dan Jurgens and George Pérez that wastes no time establishing the team's varied power set: a blazing fire-form figure dominates the left side while a dark-clad woman with colorful streaming ribbons descends in the background, joined by a blond hero in teal and a armored figure in white and yellow in the foreground, with a smaller red-suited teammate at their feet — all set against a brooding stone face looming within a circular vignette. The subtitle "Unhappily Ever After" lends a fairy-tale-gone-wrong feeling that pairs nicely with the castle imagery behind the group. Fans of Jurgens' sharp character design and Pérez's meticulous inking will find plenty to appreciate in this mid-story installment.
