Carol dates Glenn, a supervisor at a plant, and they fall in love. Glenn has invented a new machine and plans to give it to factory owner Dodson, who has helped him in his career. Carol decides she can get Glenn a better deal from rival Reese, but Dodson learns this and fires Glenn. Glenn breaks up with Carol. She decides to change her domineering ways and clears Glenn with Dodson. Carol intends to move away and start again, but Glenn comes back and they reconcile.
