The penultimate chapter of this six-issue WildStorm miniseries arrives with a cover that pulls you right into the crosshairs — a steely-eyed sniper peers down his scope, and reflected in its red-tinted lens is a helmeted soldier caught squarely in his sights. Doug Mahnke's pencils and Sandra Hope's inks give the close-up a striking, almost cinematic tension, the cool blue palette making that lone red reflection feel genuinely unsettling. Chuck Dixon's Cold War action series is heading into its home stretch, and issue five of six promises the stakes are as tight as a finger on a trigger.
