Task Force Z #8
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover by Eddy Barrows and Eber Ferreira is an absolute delight: a mountainous, zombie-ized Bane looms over a tiny tea table, cheerfully pouring from a glowing green teapot while small undead figures — including what appear to be a zombified Batman and other diminutive characters — sit around the polka-dot tablecloth like guests at the world's most unsettling tea party. The tagline "Bane Spills the Tea" says it all, and the contrast between Bane's hulking, Venom-tubed frame and the whimsical domestic scene gives this 2022 issue a darkly comedic energy that's hard to resist. With Matthew Rosenberg writing and a talented art team inside, Task Force Z #8 looks like exactly the kind of offbeat, irreverent DC book that earns its cover price.
