In "Dödens skatt," Korak tracks the missing film comedian Kapten Karp to the fortress of Tand-Rota, a brutal warrior society where laughter is forbidden. When Karp is condemned for making sick children laugh—seen as a dangerous weakness—Korak must defy the Tand-Rota befälhavare to save them, facing a deadly gauntlet of traps as punishment. With the help of a loyal soldier, he leads Karp and the children on a desperate escape through the city’s deadly halls.

In "Svarta flodens hemlighet," young Korak finds his fishing efforts constantly interrupted by mischievous boys from a nearby village. When the village chief, Lowronda, announces a fishing contest with a prize from the city, he secretly hopes Korak will win—but the boys sabotage the competition, especially when they fish in the dangerous Black Lagoon. There, Korak faces a monstrous tigerfish, a creature Tarzan once warned about, and must act fast to save the boys. With courage and quick thinking, he defeats the threat and wins the contest, only to give the prize away—turning rivalry into a chance for the boys to find a better way.

In the heart of the jungle, young Korak and his loyal chimp Charlie find themselves at odds with the strict Magister Mungari after being sent away from the new school in Drupila-byn. When the class embarks on a trip to a distant waterfall, a sudden accident leaves everyone in danger—and only Korak and Charlie can save the day. Their bravery earns Korak a second chance to return to school, but not before the boy and his chimp face the wilds and their own fears.
