In "Vrakplundrarna," Korak uncovers a mystery when he learns the Loumpi-stammen guards a strange house said to have been entrusted by sea nymphs. Investigating, he discovers the house is actually the remains of a sunken ship, and a group of vrakplundrare are secretly plundering it, deceiving the tribe. Korak outwits the thieves, brings them to justice, and ensures the treasure is returned to the stammen.

In the frozen reaches of the Arctic, Korak finds himself stranded on a drifting ice floe, fleeing a relentless bear before stumbling into a clash with the mysterious grottmänniskor. When he saves a child from a saber-toothed tiger, their hostility begins to shift—until the ice itself collapses, swallowing all but him.

In the heart of the African jungle, Korak comes to the aid of Ken and Dorothy Armstrong and their children, who’ve arrived to run a struggling veterinary clinic in Ubangi. With the clinic in disrepair and dangerous wildlife lurking nearby, a bold leopardess takes a child to force the family into following her—leading to a tense, survival-driven chase through the wild.
