In "Kung Salomos hemliga tempel," Tarzan leads an expedition through the jungle to find the fabled temple of King Solomon, accompanied by archaeologist Rick Astred, his wife Ana Astred, and colleague Otto Kramer. As they face attacks from Moloc’s gang and the temple’s deadly trials, secrets unfold—especially when Otto Kramer’s betrayal leads to his sudden petrification. With Jane and the others unconscious, a mysterious old man emerges, claiming to be part of the temple’s ancient guardians. He tells Tarzan he’s welcome to return—but alone.

In the heart of the jungle, Tarzan and Jane are ambushed in their own home by a venomous snake, setting off a deadly chain of events. Taken captive by a tribe of pygmies, they are brought to a hidden village where they face a grim fate—offered as sacrifices to the serpent god Hista, as decreed by their captor, hövding Gund. With the help of medicinmannen Buru’s dark rituals, the tribe prepares the ritual, but Tarzan’s strength and cunning may yet turn the tide.
