Tarzan #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeArthur Suydam's cover for this 1996 Dark Horse issue presents a breathtaking image: Tarzan stands astride a massive blue dinosaur-like creature, bow drawn and ready, surveying whatever threat lurks beyond the frame. The great beast's powerful form fills the foreground, its clawed feet planted amid lush jungle undergrowth, making for a striking portrait of the Lord of the Jungle in a world far stranger than his usual African stomping grounds. Writer Bruce Jones and artist Christopher Schenck bring Edgar Rice Burroughs' hero into the fourth chapter of "Tarzan's Jungle Fury" — and judging by that cover, the action shows no signs of letting up.
