Tarzan #15/1981

When a group of pygmies vanishes near the river, Tarzan takes up the trail—only to discover they’ve been taken by a monstrous crocodile. His hunt leads him deep into the jungle, where he uncovers a hidden cave and a grim secret: the pygmies are enslaved in a gold mine. The crocodile, it turns out, is no beast at all—but a cleverly disguised canoe, piloted by a white man and his allies among the tribes.

In "Djungelns hämnd!", Tarzan finds the jungle's creatures acting strangely, their behavior driven by unseen forces. Following a tainted water source upstream, he uncovers a hidden factory run by Eric Hoffer, whose chemical runoff is poisoning the land. As Hoffer's men turn violent to protect their secret, Tarzan must navigate both the treacherous jungle and the growing threat of betrayal—while a young woman, N'Banga, and her dog watch from the shadows.
