“Träskmonstret”

"Träskmonstret" is a gripping tale from Tarzan #13 (1980), where the jungle hero is called to Aburabi-träsket after the Kasongo tribe flees from a terrifying, fire-breathing dragon. Written by an unknown author and translator, this story unfolds with a clever twist as Tarzan uncovers the beast is no mythical creature, but a disguised boat rigged with flamethrowers—part of a sinister plan by the old Nazi Heinrich Stoller to keep his treasure-hunting operation secret. The cover by ? captures the eerie glow of the dragon's flames, setting the tone for a suspenseful adventure that pits Tarzan against both man and machine in the heart of the swamp.
