In "Försvunna diamanter," Tarzan encounters Norma and Jerry Mill, two young people searching for their missing father, Norman Mill, who vanished in the jungle after discovering diamonds in a hidden mine. With help from Cheeta and a growing sense of danger, Tarzan must navigate treachery among the guides and the wilds' secrets—though the mine itself remains elusive.

In "Svart slavhandel," Tarzan intercepts a group of Arab slave traders, known as chiftas, abducting a towering black man named Antifanes. As Tarzan attempts to rescue him, Antifanes repeatedly fails him—first out of cowardice, then out of greed—until his own selfishness finally catches up with him.
