Tarsam, the gentle giant, accidentally stumbles into a group of big-game hunters, only to be tied up by his own bumbling. When he yodels for help, his animal friends arrive—but instead of rescuing him, they head straight for the hunters’ TV set. Just in time, they settle in to watch the Mickey Moose Cartoon Show. Written by Roy Thomas and Len Brown, with dynamic art by Wally Wood (pencils and inks), and lettered by Ben Oda, this 1967 Topps gem is a delightfully absurd slice of mid-century whimsy, with a cover by Wally Wood that captures the chaos perfectly.
