Peter turns his newfound powers into a thriving basketball career at school and a moneymaking wrestling career. Peter is given a Spider-Man costume for his in-ring persona. Bitter after being accused of stealing money, Peter lets a burglar escape on the street when he easily could have stopped him. Aunt May and Uncle Ben are concerned as Peter's grades are slipping and confront him. He runs away to crash at Kong's and Uncle Ben shows up to drag him home. Ben gives Peter a lecture about power and responsibility. Peter runs off and, when he returns home, discovers police in the front yard.
