“The Later Life of a Monster”

In "The Later Life of a Monster," a young girl’s fear of something in her closet takes a chilling turn when her father’s disturbing behavior forces her teddy bear to transform into a monstrous protector. Written by Glen Johnson and Buzz Dixon and illustrated by Johnson with inks by Jim Sinclair, this haunting tale blends domestic dread with supernatural retribution. The cover by Corey Wolfe captures the story’s unsettling tone, while the final image hints that the bear’s vigilance may be far from over.
