Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Crisis on Infinite Earths #1
In *Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Crisis on Infinite Earths* #1, writer Steve Orlando and artist Mike Perkins deliver a haunting reimagining of a pivotal moment in DC history. Set in a twisted alternate reality where Earth 2 becomes the foundation of the new single Earth, the story follows the Justice League’s desperate stand against Surtur on Ragnarok—and the grim aftermath that forces the All-Star Squadron to become the Justice Society of Earth in a final, desperate bid to save their world. The cover by David Marquez captures the weight of this fractured legacy, while the interior art by Perkins and coloring by Andy Troy deepen the tale’s somber, mythic tone.

Tempus Fuginaut observes a Dark Multiverse where after the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the new single Earth that is formed is based on Earth 2, not Earth 1. With their universe no longer in existence, the Justice League travel to Ragnarok to battle Surtur. When they fall in battle, Surtur arrives on new Earth to face the combined might of the All-Star Squadron. Surtur kills many of the team, and the surviving members retreat and regroup as the Justice Society of Earth to face Surtur in final battle. But one of the team must make a personal sacrifice in order to ensure the Earth's survival.
