The cover of this third volume from Shogakukan immediately arrests the eye: a pale, doll-like figure dominates the frame, her enormous luminous red eyes burning with an almost otherworldly intensity against her ghostly white face. Below her, a smaller cloaked figure stands amid hovering dark butterflies, the contrast in scale lending the composition an eerie, fairy-tale weight.
